Hello,

I am building a Power Apps portal for case entity and am having some challenges setting the current login user as the customer name since it is a required field. What is the best way to automatically set the current login user as the customer name while filling out the form?

If possible, I want to make that field optional and remove it from the portal form.

Thank you @Atmaram90 Yes, I have tried it but it doesn't set to current portal user. Is there any way to make it optional for portal submission ?

Hi @godala_vamshi ,
You can edit this form record from portal management app and then create basic form metadata for the column customer and there you will have option to prepopulate/save with current logged in user.
