Easier dynamic data integration in Power Page

Hello everyone,

I've started setting up a Power Pages for my Dataverse source. Overall, I have a feeling that I could use a better dynamic way to update my pages in Power Pages, based on the changes happening in some of the Dataverse tables. Currently, things are quite constrained by the fact that Dataverse data is only exposed in tables/views.

I'm missing the ability to change things in one place for my content. This means that if there needs to be a change in some page's text, a file, or an image, I should be able to update my data in a Dataverse table, and not have to edit Power Pages to, for example, change a headline.

Has anyone had any experiences with something similar?

I think this all depends on how you implement the solution.

What do you mean about changing text/files/images? These are usually web files / content snippets within the portal, so they should automatically change within the portal.

    can you give more details?

Short answer is you can.  The Power Pages site designer stores most (you may not get some added things like Power Pages Flow, or Payment Integration etc) of its content in Dataverse Tables and you can use the Portal/Power Pages Management app to edit it from a Model Driven App interface.  Doing so is probably regressing a bit to the way we used to do things in the past where there was no Site Designer.

Note: if you have someone with the Site Desinger open then be careful as it may overwrite your changes (or you may overwrite theirs), and the Site Designer user would need to sync to get the changes you made - this is due to the Designer's autosave and caching.
