iFrame/External Website component not rendering on form page

Im trying to do some simple testing, just to get the iframe component to render on a form. Im just using a simple YouTube embed URL to test.

The video shows ok on the form edit page (see screenshot) but it does not render on the actual Power Pages page/form. Is there some setting im missing that prevents the page from showing external content?

    Hi @richardmayo ,

Typically, in this situation you'll put a section on the form, and then by adding JavaScript, you can easily target that section and add the required IFrame.

You can also use it from Site Components available in Power Pages Designer Studio. This Article explains how you can add it on Web Page.

    Thanks,

    Saud

    Thanks @saudali_25

As you can see from the screenshot, I had already added the iframe to the form and just out a placeholder URL there to test that it would show on the site.

is there a reason why the iframe does not render on the site? But does show when I’m editing the form in power apps?

    Hi @richardmayo ,

I tried it myself and behavior is same as you are facing. May there is some bug or compatibility issues between both Model driven App and Power Pages Site.

I would suggest adding it direct on your Page and it will work.

    Thanks,

    Saud
