Hi,
I have built a vacation flow with approvals for our employees. If the request is accepted by the boss, a new list item (event) is created in a Sharepoint calendar. The request comes from a Sharepoint list with date columns for beginning and ending of the vacation.
As you can see below, the employee's vacations are created in the Sharepoint calendar as I like them to be:
They are even set as all-day events (here: 'Ganztägiges Ereignis') automatically:
The problem begins with outlook. We normally use outlook calendars and therefore I synchronized the Sharepoint calendar with outlook. Here, the events created by the flow are not marked as all-day events and are 2 hours off. I created the one below to show you the issue:
Outlook does not realize that these events should be all day (here: 'Ganztägig') and even worse, sets them two hours off the time from Sharepoint. Until now, I manually activated the all-day button for each vacation but this is not only annoying but not efficient aswell.
It is important to mention that I tested the calendar with another flow which includes dates plus times and therefore does not mark the events as all-day and here it worked. Outlook only synchronizes the all-day events in a wrong way why I am thinking that the servers should not be able to cause the issue.
Do you guys have any idea why this problem occurs and how it could be fixed?
Thanks!
