Forms - Update Excel - PDF - Email

I'm building flow to:

1. Take a response from a Forms Survey

2. Update a Table in Excel

3. Convert that Excel to a PDF

4. Email a copy of the PDF

My Flow works up to the PDF and Email part. It will update the Excel perfectly but when it converts the file to PDF the updates are gone. The flow sends out a PDF without any updates but the excel doc in OneDrive shows the updates.

Any help would be great,

Bill

    Hi @billwilsonx45 ,
    I do not have all the details but the cause of the issue would be a locked file. Please try to add some delay before getting metadata. See if this will resolve the issue.

    Another tip; You could try to pass response details output as a variable into the office script and do all updates in a single action rather than using separate excel actions to update several rows.

    Useful Links about Office Script;

    Hi,

    Can you try and see whether its a problem with that particular excel to PDF or any excel to PDF conversion is an issue.

    Please convert the excel to html and if data is getting reflected.

    Also, I dont think  'Get metadata, Get content' steps necessary.

    After excel update, directly try to convert the file to PDF.
