I have new PowerPage site and I successfully setup 2 factor authentication.

- The user goes to login page.

- Enter username and password.

- User Receives a Security code on their email.

- User copy/paste security code from the email.

- User click verify - Button

- Screen is frozen and won't let the users into the portal.

Has anyone experienced this?

If I take out the 2 factor authentication from the user's contact records, the user can authenticate fine and can use the site.

Thank you

Ediz

Disabling the 2 site settings fixed the issue.

    - HTTP/Content-Security-Policy

    - HTTP/X-Content-Type-Options

@edizt Does your site work when performing a search with these site settings turned off? I cannot perform any global/dataverse search on Power Pages when turned off.

For detailed instructions, visit: Enable Two-Factor Authentication.

By default, users can choose to opt in or out of two-factor authentication (2FA). If you want to enforce 2FA, you can use a plugin, workflow, or Power Automate flow to activate it for a user after their account is created. This will enable 2FA from their next successful login. To implement 2FA/OTP for the initial login, you would need to write a custom plugin to handle this process separately and then enable 2FA after the first login.

Please note, Microsoft recommends using an external identity provider (where 2FA/MFA is supported by various authentication methods), as local login authentication is considered deprecated in Power Papes.
