Power BI Integration to PowerApp Portal

Hi,

I am trying to integrate power bi report into my power app portal using access type:"Embed for your customers". But It keeps eroring out saying I need to specify roles in liquid tag. However, my power bi does not use any roles as it uses a live connection with SSAS. In my SSAS cube I do have a role (EnterpriseUser) and even after I specify this roles in the Apply Roles it is still not working. any help on this is much appreciated.

Hi @Perams ,

Did you follow this official guide on enabling embedded power bi service including prerequisites? Regarding an error that you received - according to powerbi liquid tag docs this error occurs only if you specified roles in your power bi dashboard and didn't provide them on the tag. Try to create a new sample dashboard without any roles and try to embed it to see if it will show up in the portal. Also, you might try to disable and enable powerbi embedded service (it helped me once when suddenly dashboards stopped showing on the portal). If the test dashboard won't show up and if you are sure that no roles are assigned to the first dashboard I would advise you to open a support ticket with Microsoft.

Hi @OOlashyn ,

What is your liquid lag of PowerBi? What is the authentication_type that you set?

Please note that the Role parameter works only when the authentication_type parameter is set to powerbiembedded.
