Hey everyone,
I just added the new SharePoint Syntex functionality to a SharePoint library and it works like a charm within the library. I noticed the Power Automate Trigger "SharePoint" - "When a file is classified by a content understanding model". As from the docs it should trigger the flow after SharePoint Syntex classified a file: SharePoint - Connectors | Microsoft Docs
Unfortunately the flow never starts. I tried it with different libraries, different Syntex content types, in flow test mode and production, nothing. From the peek code I saw that it could take up to 15 minutes intervals but currently it's more than an hour.
Can someone reproduce the same error or could help me what am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance!
Yep, MS fixed it on the backend. My workflow is triggering fine. Sometimes it does get throttled if a do a large batch of files but it all works eventually.
I think this issue has been closed with the recent deployment and is now being triggered , when we drop files to the primed library or when we click on classify and extract for existing documents.
I am seeing the opposite issue. I have a Power Automate workflow that grabs files from a System File share and adds them to a Library where Syntex is setup. Syntex never triggers after the files are added by the workflow. If I manually drop the same files into the library, Syntex does its magic.
I even licensed the service account I am using to create the documents in my Power Automate workflow.
I encountered the exact same issue. My Power Automate never got triggered after I uploaded a few new files to the document library and successfully classified and extracted by my Syntex model.
Hi @MarvinBangert , are you still able to see this issue?
Hey @RaashiSen
thanks for your reply, I also tested it with "I will perform the trigger" but nothing happend. I will open a support request and look forward to solve this.
Hello @MarvinBangert ,
Can you try using 'I will perform the trigger' test option in the Flow, and then work on SharePoint File to see if the test trigger runs?
If not, then I would suggest to open a Support request with Microsoft Power Automate Support team and provide the Flow URL so that they can investigate the Trigger registration calls to see if the call is actually received from SharePoint or not.
Thanks.
