Az B2C - Registration claims mapping not passing all values to Dynamics CRM Contact

Hi,

I have configured the following claim in Registration claims mapping:

firstname=extension_FirstName,lastname=extension_LastName,fullname=name,jobtitle=jobTitle,telephone1=extension_PhoneNumber

The value entered by the user in extension_PhoneNumber is not passed to the Business Phone (telephone1) in the contact record in Dynamics CRM Contact.

In the contact record I can only see the values in firstname, lastname, fullname and jobtitle.

I have also tried with other fields from the SignUp page, and none are written in the Contact record in CRM.

Any idea on what I am missing?

Regards,
Sylvain

    Do you have this set in both LoginClaimsMapping and RegistrationClaimsMapping?

    As far as I remember, extension_ is only used for custom attributes in B2C, are your attributes custom? is there any reason as to why you are not using the B2C native attributes?

    First Name / Last Name is mapped by default, so you don't need to include them

    In fact, I have many custom attributes in my SingUp page, but you are right I did not need custom attributes for first name and last name!

    I saw this morning that the parameter "Authentication/OpenIdConnect/AAD-B2C_1/RegistrationClaimsMapping" was in double in Power Pages Management - Site Settings and one of the entries was having a different claims mapping.

    I have removed the entry with the wrong claim mapping and now I can see the Business Phone in my contact.

    But, I have added one more field in my claims mapping and this time that field does not show up in the contact record.

    firstname=extension_FirstName,lastname=extension_LastName,fullname=name,jobtitle=jobTitle,telephone1=extension_PhoneNumber,address1_line1=country

    Is there a delay between the time I change the claims mapping in Power Pages and the time that new mapping take effect?

    Regards,
    Sylvain

    Could there be a delay - possibly. The portal cache has delay for updates made direct in dataverse to the portal (usually occurs in less than a few minutes but the SLA is 15 mins),re-Previewing your site should refresh the cache, you could also do it from https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/resources/portals click the 3 dots against your site and Purge Cache (or choose Manage, then Site Actions and then Restart the site - this option will 'bounce' the site)

    Hi,

    I did more testing, and I found out that my mapping issue is with custom fields in CRM.

    First Name, Last Name, Job Title and Business Phone are all native fields in Dynamics CRM and the mapping is working for those.

    I have tried to map the Market Segment from the Sing Up page to the Subject in CRM Contact, the Subject is a custom field it is not working.

    I have tried to map the Market Segment to the Salutation field that is a native CRM field, and it is working!

    Do you know if there is a known issue with mapping the Sign Up fields to custom CRM fields?
