Hi @OliverRodrigues ,

I'm trying to add a Lookup (Contact) that allow me to add New Contact in my form but in the Power Apps portal page its only displaying Contact as a Searchable field on my form and when I click on it, it display the Quick view contact form. I know if I create a list I can set options like Create and Delete record but I like to add a form that have Contact as a lookup and let the users search and add more contacts right in the form. When I try to add the data in my table from backend Tables section, that form does display Contact field with New Contact option but in the portal page it doesn't.

Hi, I did add attributes but I do not see New option. Also I selected Control style to Render Lookup as Dropdown but its not loading any values. Do I have to check permissions etc for this?

    Hi @Anonymous :

I suggest you check the permissions on the associated table.

In addition, could you provide a screenshot of the attributes setting?

Hi, Here is the settings for attribute, I'm pointing to same Entity Form where I have this lookup. I also created new form that allow create new record in this lookup Entity table and set that form here but still it doesn't display New button.

For drop down lookup fields value issue I have to perform below steps:

    First add Entity Permissions

    1. Give Entity Name - Select Lookup field to your form
    2. Save it and Re-edit as what you created, as you do not see Add Existing Web Roles
    3. Select all Privileges
    4. Now Add Existing Web Roles - Anonymous Users
    5. Save it

    Go to Entity Form

    1. Entity Form Metadata
    2. Add Attribute
    3. Select Lookup field that you are using in your form
    4. In my case I picked Control Style Render Lookup as Dropdown
    5. Save it

Now I can see the values in the dropdown

    Hi @Anonymous :

I have done several tests and have been successful, I suggest you check the following points:

1\What is the "Form" you set in the lookup setting?

    1.png

It must be the form of the associated entity, and its mode must be ‘Insert’.

    For example:

    • My main entity is 'Bof' and it's associated entity is 'Account'
    • 'BofFormis 'Bof's form it's mode is edit.
    • 'AccountForm' is 'Account''s form it's mode is 'insert'
    • I need to edit the'BofForm'’s Form metadata, associate the Attribute Logical Name with the lookup field "Account", and set the Entity Form for Create in Lookup Settings to'AccountForm'

2\Have you enabled this form matedata?

    Best Regards,

If changes are not reflecting through to the Portal, if not already doing so make sure that you are clearing the Portal Cache after making the changes.

Hi, I'm gona test this out again today and let you know. Can I get your opinion on which way provide more flexibility to the developer? using Entity Forms or Use Liquid tags or FeatchXML?

    Thank You.
