Why is Editable Grid Power App Grid Control not showing lookup column value and disabled for editing?

I followed the two articles below to get an editable grid on my power page. The grid is editable after creating the records, but for some reason, my lookup field is not displaying its value and shows as locked for editing. Any idea what I'm doing wrong here?

@SChavez can you please help i have followed the above two article but the editable grid does not shows up.
1) Form on entity 2) added subgrid 2) added power apps grid editable 3) added to multistep form 4) added step metadata for subgrid as code component.
but still it is not showing up on the form
