Email connector - Body takes multiple lines

Posted on by 16
Hi,
I'm using Mail Connector (Send an email notification (v3) to send an email with details from When an item or a file is modified event trigger.
In my email Body I add details without any line breaks but when I see an email in my mailbox, multiple blank lines gets added after each period. Has anyone seen it?
Also, I was able to add emojis to one of the notification and not working for the new email notifications the flow is sending.
Screenshot of the flow with no line breaks and 4 emojis -
Screenshot of the actual email with blank lines in between lines and 3 missing emojis -
Should I use anything specific to keep the email body intact?

    Hi,

Try to disable the new flow designer and save your flow again. The new version still contain bugs for some actions, and this weird behavior may be caused by it. If it doesn't work for the multi-line issue, a possible solution is to edit your email in HTML mode, and you can do it by clicking in this icon:

In the HTML mode, you can identify and remove any extra <br> tags, that are responsible for line breaks. Just be careful, since depending on the changes that you perform in the HTML mode (like adding style to the email body), you won't be able to return to the rich text mode.

Let me know if it works for you or if you need any additional help!
