Hi,

How to exclude Primary and owner fields from while creating entity form (main form) ? When I try to delete from form editor it shows below error.

NOTE: they are not mandatory fields.

Required fields cannot be deleted.

Cheers Jags

    Hi @Anonymous

    is that a custom entity?

if you create a custom entity and you don't want to leverage a detailed security model you can set the ownership to organization:

this means that when defining security privileges for that entity users would be able to either see all records or no records at all, you can define on a record or business unit basis

if you want to understand more about this take a look at: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customerengagement/on-premises/admin/security-concepts

note that the above only works when creating an entity, you can't modify an existing entity

    Hi Jags,

I believe the owner field is a system field that is mandatory, hence the reason why it can't be deleted. This is the same with the defined 'title' field, which I assume is your primary field.

Is it possible for you to achieve what you want by hiding those fields, rather than deleting them?
