Licensing and Configuration for Authenticated External Users on Power Pages

Hello community,

I'm working on a Power Pages website for our new vendors. The home page is public, but new vendors must authenticate via Google or Microsoft to access a specific form. We currently have a license for 100 authenticated users, but I'm unsure if we need a separate license for anonymous users to enable this external user authentication. I appreciate your help!

Hi @mariocesenahurt ,

When the user authenticate by any of the supported authentication methods like Azure AD, Azure B2c,Identity server or any social media(Google, Facebook ... etc.) is counted from the Authenticated users licenses so no need to purchase extra license.

If you are going to keep the home page public then technically you also need anonymous licensing also. If your site is only for Authenticated users you can lock down the home page (using a Web Page Access Control Rule ) which will push users to the login/register page - in this 'lock down' case you do not need anonymous just the authenticated license - this is documented somewhere but I can never find it when I want to check it.
