Attach File control not displaying

Hello,

I've configured an entity form to allow file attachment. However, attaching file still doesn't appear. Does this have something to do with the page template used by the web page where my entity form is being surface?

    Hi @alfredokijr ,

Can you check if you enable Entity Permissions on the entity form and if you configured entity permissions to create notes?

    Hi @OOlashyn ,

I'll do that and see what happens. I didn't enable it because of the below note on the documentation that portals with version 9.2.2.x or later need not to do that.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/portals/configure/entity-forms#add-a-form-to-your-portal

I had the same issue and finally got the button to appear (without checking Enable Entity Permissions). I did nothing different to the article that you linked @alfredokijr but it took me a few tries to figure out how to implement what they said.

Create two entity permissions via Portal Management,  Security > Entity Permissions > New.

    1. Create a new permission on your entity of interest.
      • Set its scope to Global.
      • Grant it privileges. In my case I gave it all privileges except delete.
      • Add web roles. In my case, "Anonymous Users".

    2. Create a new permission on the entity named "Note (annotation)".
      • Set its scope to Parent.
      • In the Parent Scope section that then becomes visible, select the existing permission that you created above.
      • Grant it privileges. In my case I gave it all privileges except delete.

    Hi @martindr

I'm trying to follow along with your explanation, in the second step, when I try to select the existing permission created in the first step, it shows as not applicable to select a "Parent Relationship". Do the table permissions have to exist in different entities?
