Why i can only see one flow out of 2 flows inside the power apps?

Posted on 20 Nov 2024 18:59:31 by 1,328
I am the owner of a Power App inside the Default environment, and which is not part of any solution:-

And Today another user created a manual Flow that is called from Power Apps, and define my username as a co-worker, as follow:-

But when i edit the Power App, and i try to add the above flow, it did not appear:-

The flow i can see is also a manual flow which get triggered from power apps, that has been created by the other user 3 months ago and defined my username as a co-worker.. so why it is showing while the another flow is not??

Thanks

Okay, at this point it's probably just quicker to recreate the flow.

    1.  Click the "Create new flow" option inside your power app.

    2.  Setup the trigger the same way as your missing flow.  Add a compose or respond to power apps action so that you can save the flow.

    3.  Open the flow that Powerapps doesn't see in one tab.

    4. Open your newly made flow in another tab.

    5.  Copy and past the actions from one to the other.  (If there are many actions, you can add some "scope" actions, and organize everything into one or two scopes, then all you have to do is copy the scope and then past that into the other flow to move over all the actions.

The client i am working with does not use solutions, and the other flow which is showing inside the power apps is not inside a solution, so there must be a way to show the new flow inside the power apps..

Have you tried putting your app and your flow into a solution?

Maybe a dumb question, but what is the trigger of the flow that you own which is missing?
You can only see flows with Power Apps triggers from inside a Canvas App.

Have you tried hitting the "Refresh"?

If the flow that you can't find has a PowerApp trigger, one thing you can try is to save a copy of it--then check your app, refresh, and see if the copy shows up as an option for "add a flow".
