Connecting power apps V2 to Power automate flow

Hi there,

I am fresh out of the box trying to figure out a small thing for work.

What I want is to use Power apps to scan a QR code or barcode and send that information as a trigger for a cloud flow.

So far I've managed to connect the two which seemed fairly straight forward as you can now just create the flow from Power Apps. I can also see the connection in the Power Automate tab inside of Power Apps

But this is where I'm stuck. I've made just 1 variable in the flow to begin, and for the life of me I cannot seem to understand how I send that variable from Power apps, regardless of how many videos I watch I cannot get the variable to show up in any way on Power apps.

I see a bunch of videos where people are doing this and they start typing in the function line and their variable just show up. But I get no such thing.

Help?

I think you missunderstood me. The adding of row happends in my Power automate flow and works flawlessly. We have an older system of QR codes and barcodes for thousands of products stored in a database, anything from a single screw to a complete 5 ton machine.
I want to be able to scan the barcode or QR code using Power Apps and send just that infomation to the flow. When you do the flow does a lookup function to find all the details needed to order a new item. But I can't seem to parse the information between the two.
Where in Power Apps do I see my connected variables? Because they sure ain't in the Variables tab.

    Hi @Wall-Em ,

    Please try:

    AddRowToExcel.Run(Variable)

    Best Regards,
