Hi All

I am wandering if there is a way to pass any data to PowerPages in a link ( via ?var1=12&var2=qwerty etc)

Just like we have in PowerApps that can be picked up with Param() function

Thanks

    Yes, you can do that

It all depends on how your pages are being built, what components are you using? what buttons are you using?

I got 2 pages with different lists on each and I want to have links to those pages

and a page with some info and pictures on a third page , which I need a link to as well

Are list 1 and list 2 related in any form? or are they completely separate list?

    • if they are related, for example Parent Table list and then Child Table list, the parent list should be a list component, and the child should be a form with a subgrid
    • if they are not related, may I ask what's the purpose of passing a parameter between them?

    3rd page with info:

    • are you planning to use basic form or custom render via Liquid? regardless this should be coming via List or Subgrid from previous page

    hope this makes sense

Lists not related on first 2 pages
No forms or custom render on 3rd page, just few pictures and some labels with text

    Hi, thanks for the info

If the lists are not related, why do you need to pass any variable between them?

If you need to display pictures you are probably looking at custom rendering using Liquid for a better UX

Ok, here is scenario - I want to pass an invoice number to be opened and redirect user to a page where that invoice can be viewed

    So something like https://mypowerpage.com?page=viewinvoice&invoice=123

so you don't have two lists.. you have 1 list (invoice) + 1 details page

your URL structure should be: https://mypowerpage.com/myinvoices?invoiceid=123
