How to Remove Stuck Portal Self Serve Without Support Ticket?

Question:

How to Remove Stuck Provisioning Portal without Support Ticket?

Or is only way a Microsoft support ticket?

Here this portal stuck in provisioning status for more than 24 hours.

This is a non-critical environment and non-critical tenant as well.

However, we wanted to know in case, a self serve way to resolve this (if it exists).

Thanks.

We were going to take a closer look at your idea again because we thought it might work.

However, in doing so, we noticed, the PowerApps Portal, eventually finished provisioning on its own! We do not know when it finished as we did not check from a while - but it actually finished eventually!

If we encounter this problem again though in the future, we might consider your solution again because, even if it is greyed out, you may be right that the ID of the Portal may still show up somewhere in Chrome Developer Tools request somewhere, even in that state when it is greyed out in make.powerapps.com. Maybe we can use that ID in that URL you described to attempt to manually reset the portal that is stuck on provisioning.

It is no longer in that state so we could not check further to try the idea. However, if it ever happens again, we may consider to try what you said in that case. It may still not work because we do not know for sure that while stuck, that it would allow any changes of any kind or even be recognized as existing yet. However, it was a good idea and we may keep it in mind if we encounter the issue again in the future.

@poweractivate You can try resetting the portal and start the installation again.

Portal admin center can be open by the URL format:

    https://portaladmin-<CrmGeo>.portal-infra.dynamics.com/?tenantProductId=<Id

Are you building this portal from North America region? Then it should be something like:

    https://portaladmin-nam.portal-infra.dynamics.com/?tenantProductId=<Id

You can find the tenant product id from the network call:

    query.png

Once the portal admin center is open, you can use this documentation to reset the portal:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/portals/admin/reset-portal

    @Yogesh_Gupta

Thank you, it did not work though because we get this:

"The portal you are trying to access doesn’t belong to the tenant you are currently logged into. Please log out and log in to the correct tenant. "

That URL needs to have the portal id in the URL somewhere.

Also, we created it from PowerApps, so we don't know the instance id.

Sometimes it shows here: https://port.crm.dynamics.com/G/Applications/Index.aspx but that was the old Portal Add On. We are asking about the PowerApps Portal which apparently doesn't show in this list here. Also, it is stuck in Provisioning state, which is another factor.

By the way, even now it is still stuck.

Any other idea about how to do this short of a Microsoft support ticket?
