Can anyone tell me or point to documents that describe the power pages page rendering process?
That is, how does power pages build (render) a page?
 
I figure it's a combo between headers (default or your own), web templates, local page content.
And in what order?  
 
Does it matter if Enhanced Data Model is on or not?

    I am looking for this info so I can setup a way to make PP sites more quickly/streamlined.  So I can use PPDS to create a PP site.  With all it's wiring in place to integrate with the platform.

    But use VS Code Desktop w/ git to develop/modify better, then inject it into the correct location so when PP fires off to build the page, everything I coded shows up in the right place.

    I'll lay it out so you will get an idea.
    Webtemplate - considering settings
       consults - page template 
       webtemplate - pulls in page content (at some point) maybe where it says 'page copy' maybe?  
           - also pull in content snippets (headers/footers/ custom snips), images, assests
    displays the full page

    Something like that.  Just so I can sort out where to inject code.
