Count Incoming Emails in a Company Shared Inbox.

Hello everyone,

I am currently trying to create a flow to count all incoming emails to a shared mailbox. See screenshots of flow below.
I have found other threads to help me do this, https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Flows/Count-last-months-incoming-emails-to-shared-mailbox-and-post/td-p/2023814 & https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Flows/Daily-count-of-emails-in-shared-mailbox-folder/m-p/1359986#M153664

From what I understand, the flow is getting the emails from the main Inbox and moving them into a new folder I created to be "Daily Inbox (TESTING)" to count how many incoming emails are being received throughout the day.

The issue is that our team that handles the inbox, moves the emails around into different folders in the inbox at any time of the day. I can't really set it to happen at the end of the day since the main Inbox will be empty (if they didn't leave any). I've tried this and it came up with 0 emails. So I've set it to happen every minute instead. Since the recurrence has been set to 1 minute, it keeps adding a new row into the excel spreadsheet. I've tried the "Update a row" action and it just kept adding rows still.

All I really need the flow to do is to count how many incoming emails are being received into the shared inbox and put that number into an excel spreadsheet with the date. (Count being the total emails received for that 1 day)

If there's a simpler way to do this, or if I'm going about this all wrong please let me know.

Just having another browse through the community and I found someone saying it might be a good idea to create 2 flows, one that counts "When a new email arrives in a shared mailbox (V2)" and inputs that into a sharepoint list and the other flow to count how many items are in the list.

    Is this easier?

    Hi @James-Billi,

if the team that handles the inbox moves the emails only to subfolders of Inbox, use this freeware flow:
