Checkout Screen Dropdown appears empty

Hi Power Up Team,
 
Going through Canvas App Module Lesson#6 - My Library Manager App - Time[10:47].
 
Have added the formula to the "Check out book" button, but on the Play Check-out Screen dropdown the names of the students and the book titles do not appear. Please see the attached file.

    This is a problem that other students have experienced. 
     
    Can you try the suggestions in this post to see if helps?
     
     
    With regards to removing the * from the Book Copy, making the Book Copy lookup optional in the Loans table is the first step. If you then re-add the card in the canvas form, that will remove the *.  In this instance, I would say the video is incorrect because it doesn't make sense to create a loan record without specifying a book.

    Hi there,
     
    Thanks for the provided link, that didn't work in my case though...
     
    Unfortunately I can't copy images to my messages, therefore my steps are attached in the file. 
     
    The issue was resolved in a very strange way. On the Student's cell Advanced Properties -> Items, I deleted 'pu_Student' and retyped it again exactrly the same way 'pu_Student', the same steps were done in the book cell Advanced Properties -> Items: deleted 'pu_BookCopy' and retyped it again in exactly the same way and all seems to work now.
     
    As I'm spending so much time on resolving the issues due to the different versions on the tutorial and the on I'm working on, would it be possible to get extra learning time please?

    Thanks for the update. I'm glad that deleting and retyping pu_Student appears to have solved the problem.
     
    Unfortunately, I can't comment about extra learning time - I suspect this would not be possible due to how the course follows a fixed schedule.
     
    Therefore I recommend contacting powerup-support@microsoft.com. If you give them the link to this post, they'll be able to see the problems you've been having and hopefully the admins can work out some plan to better help and support you with this.
