We're using D365 CRM Online with Dynamics Portal online. Challenge what we're facing is on the attachment of the files? If we're attaching any images or pdf then all works fine. But, if we attach *.doc, *.xls or *.xml files as attachment, then we're getting exception 'Attachment extension failed whitelist policy'.
We verified at Admin - System Settings - Set blocked file extensions for attachments and .doc, .xls or .xml is not part of it. If we manually add these extension files in D365 records it get attached perfectly.
