Database Capacity Add-On allocation to a specific environment

Hi All,

I would like to understand how I can allocate Database Capacity to a specific environment? Let's say that I purchase additional 2 GB Database Add-On from the Admin portal for a specific use case, let's say an App developed in an environment. This app requires 2 GB storage, I want to ensure that the additional DB storage I purchase is assigned to the correct environment. I do not want this additional storage in a Pool (shared with all environments) and allocated automatically depending on the usage.

I want to make sure the team that's paying for this cost uses this allocation. All articles I read say that this Add-On capacity cannot be allocated to a specific environment. I can see that the licensing (per app) can be allocated but not the DB capacity. I want to ensure a predictable cost for an environment rather than allocating based on the usage. This way I can also easily charge the cost back to the specific Function within the organisation.

Would be good to understand if assigning DB capacity to a specific environment is available in some form.
