Hello,

i am am new to Flow and I am trying to integrate it with Power Bi. My two questions are ; do the alerts in Power BI have to be set to active for the flow to work? How can I set the flow to only send 1 notification when an alert is triggered , not the daily or hourly defaults? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Thanks for the update. I tried with a gauge tile and that also didn't work. Hope they'll fix it soon.

Hey @afernando, After I have posted here, I have contacted the Flow product developers and got to know that they somehow missed implementing the KPI alert for Flow and there is no estimate yet.

Hello gentlemen,

I'm also getting an error when try to send an email when a PowerBI data-driven alert is triggered.
Any idea what could be causing the issue? I've included the full error message below the image. Thanks

I just did a test with a KPI title and the flow did not give me any errors. Are you able to screen shot your alert?

Hey @goaltender36, Yes I am creating the flow from blank template. I think I was able to repro the issue, am getting an issue in the flow when am setting alerts on KPI tiles instead of scorecard tiles. Can you please check if you are getting the same issue.

Hey @revanth06

The creating alerts in different workspaces should not effect it. I just did a test on mine and was able to see the different alert from another workspace. Are you creating the flow from the template or creating it from blank?

Yup, even the alerts on the Power BI are having a unique name as well and they are different from the ones on Flow.

That may be the cause. Are all your alerts in power BI under the same name? Each alert in BI needs to have a unique name as well
