So im working on a flow to collect user data on forms, pass it through a flow that populates a word document and then sends that document through email (outlook) in pdf format. However im having an issue with viewing it in the email. My flow runs perfectly well. no issues that i know of, but yet i get a failed to load error when trying to preview or download the pdf. however, when i head over to one drive to check that the file was created in pdf. Its there to view and in pdf format, filled out and readable. My only issue is, why is the pdf getting crippled on the way to outlook. i dont understand why this is happening. can anyone let me know how i can fix this?

Note: im using instant cloud flow.. if that changed things

Hi, I'm having the is issue.
I'm trying to Create a sharepoint file from a Form response as pdf, the form response is like a request made, which is why I'm creating a file with this response details in order to send via mail for approval. When I save the file with both .pdf and .docx extensions, the file would be created on Sharepoint, but unreadable, and therefore the attachment sent with the approval mail will be inaccessible. When I create it using .html extension, it would be readable from both sharepoint and from the mail. But the problem with the .html file is that it cant be previewed via mail, it has to be download first.

Is there anything I'm doing wrong? Or is it that I'm trying to implement the impossible? How else can I make this work?

Have you created the send email action in the classic designer again? What formula do you use for the attachment?

@Jaz1 Can you try to edit your flow in the Classic Designer and save and test it from the Classic Designer (instead of the New Designer). See if that helps. The new designer is still a bit buggy.

@Jaz1 Which dynamic content are you using for the Attachment name field?

yes. get content is properly accessing dynamic content from create file 1 (i renamed it to create file pdf).

i used id dynamic data to get file content from create file pdf. i only removed now for demonstration purposes.

@Jaz1 You have two Create file actions. Can you check to ensure that the Get file content is accessing the dynamic content from the Create file 1 action and not the Create file action? Tip: Rename your actions to keep things organized. Especially when using multiple instances of the same action. Things can get pretty confusing.

By renaming your actions it makes it easier to identify which action the dynamic content belongs to.
