Integrating gun barcode scanner in Power Apps

I'm going to make an app where I will utilize the usage of gun barcode scanner and power apps. Every time I scan a barcode the content of my Excel file will be updated. Is that doable?

hi @henry02

you can try a workaround like scan the bar code to a text field maybe in a form that has other fields of your choice and then patch it to your data source with a submit button, else as @developerAJ said use the camera on a mobile\tablet device after installing power apps on it.

Powerapps in built feature support scan using a mobile camera in which you installed the powerapp.
