I think I've gone through all the documentation and videos I could find on using Power Pages with ALM, and I'm still lost. With other Power Platform products, it is relatively easy to have everything in a solution and move that across environments (dev, test, prod, ...). It seems like that isn't the case with Power Pages. I've used the download and upload CLI commands to move some of the Power Pages site to a new environment, but that seemed to only be the web part.
When I first tried to set it up, I created a Power Pages site in each environment (company-dev, company-test, and company-prod). The test one got stuck during the initialization and has been that way for over a week now. I have a ticket with Microsoft, but they haven’t even acknowledged my ticket yet. When I tried to move it from dev to prod, a site with the dev GUID came over, instead of it updating the site content of the site that was already there. I tried using deployment profiles, and that still seemed to only be able to update the broken dev site that came over, not apply the site changes to the existing site that was there.
I removed everything on the prod environment and tried to just move the site, but none of the Dataverse side seemed to be setup when I moved the site. Is there even a way to reliably move the sites across environments? If so, what are the steps to do that and have a URL for each site, in each environment?
