Activate Event in Portal

Hello,

I am using a table in Dataverse for events. After administrators fill out the details for the event I want them to be able to 'activate' it in the portal using a toggle in the form. Is this possible?

Hi @5by5T ,

To show Toggle controls in Portal you need to write/get your PCF control to accomplish this. However, try the following method. It is not the expected result that you are looking for. But it will fulfil your need.

In Dataverse:

1. Add Activate column as a "Yes/No" field.

2. Edit the desired form and follow the below sequence.

Click Components > Add toggle control > choose your Activate field.

4. Save and Publish it.

In the portal studio:

1. Press Sync configuration and browse the website.

Output:

It will render as a checkbox.

Again not the straight answer you are looking for.!! Using OOB controls this is the output we can quickly build.
