Dataverse "AAD user" Azure Active Directory table is not showing
The "AAD User" table is a virtual table connected to Azure Active Directory, and it might not appear because it is not automatically included in the list of standard tables or because virtual tables are not enabled or configured in your environment.
Here are the steps to resolve this:
1. Search for the table using its schema name aaduser instead of the friendly display name, as virtual tables sometimes require exact names to show up in the search.
2. Check the table filters in the Dataverse list. Ensure you’ve selected "All" tables instead of "Recommended" or "Custom," as these filters can hide system and virtual tables.
3. Go to Settings > Advanced Settings > Administration > Virtual Entities Data Sources and verify that the Azure Active Directory connection (data source) is set up and active. The AAD User table depends on this connection.
4. Ensure your account has the proper permissions, such as the System Administrator role, or a custom security role that allows you to view and manage virtual tables.
5. If the table still doesn’t appear, check whether the virtual tables feature is enabled in your Dataverse environment. This might require admin access to your Power Platform environment settings.
6. Ensure there are no customization conflicts or unmanaged layers affecting the availability of system tables like the AAD User table.
