BadGateway Error

Hello,

I have had this flow for almost a year now (18 days shy of 365) and it has never given me an issue, running for less than a minute before everything is completed. Starting four days ago the flow has continuously given me a "BadGateway" error. All my flows are timing out around 14 to 15 minutes as it stops at my "Condition" and "Add Row into a Table". I have reauthenticated all my connections, resubmitted the failed flows, and logged in and out of PA. Nothing worked. I then rebuilt the "Condition" and "Add Row into a Table" segments of the flow. Doing so it worked for another two days, and now, it is once again giving me the same error. What is going wrong? My company relies on this flow and the trigger is a Form response that is submitted multiple times a day, thus eliminating the option of stopping the flow entirely to rebuild. Even if this was an option, I have no want to rebuild this entire flow anytime it "breaks". Images of my flow and errors messages are attached.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

PS. I have never used this forum, nor any forum, so bear with me in this interaction.

Here are my responses to your suggestions. I have not figured out how to directly respond to you (if that's an option) so I do hope you see this.

    1. The files are locked, and so the one you recreated details actions on, let it go before it got locked again.

The Excel file live in SharePoint and is open for editing by two people, I am one. We can make edits at the same time. I also have multiple flows similar to this with the same restrictions but it is giving me no issues.

    2. the Table is being created each time and the delay isn't enough before doing stuff to it. cannot tell if this

I am unsure what you mean by this. The table is constantly there and just grows larger each time a new submission is created. It started as a table with no rows, it now has 1600 rows from submissions. Also, submissions sometimes happen in the middle of the night so no one is in the file as we are all clocked out.

    3. Your flow is getting too large in processing and the process action is taking long then 30 seconds, which can and does cause the request queue to back up and will cause 504 errors

The flow has never changed size, it has been the same since the day I made it. Bear with me on my lack of knowledge, but how could it just now be too large? And if that is the case, how do I fix that?

    4. Your flow usage has increased by volume or velocity. # of people, those people doing things slightly differently, you are having more folks submit responses to your Form.

The usage is about the same. We have around 10 submissions a day at all different times. It never exceeds 20 submissions. Would that be too large? Also if that is the case, why now?

    5. Your form has somehow changed, the data inside is now causing an issue.

I could be wrong, but I don't think it's a Form issue. The command before "Add Row into a Table" is a condition where an email is sent out to a specific person depending on an answer in the form. The email then contains the form responses. Leading me to believe it's not forms as its still collecting all the information and sending it out, PA just breaks when I try to add it into an Excel table.

So this could be a couple of things

    1. The files are locked, and so the one you recreated details actions on, let it go before it got locked again.

its possible someone, or something else, is accidentally opening it. When this happens, I would go to the file manually as you able to open it and it doesn't say someone has it locked? (if so by a flow it should be the person who owns/the connections to the file)

    2. the Table is being created each time and the delay isn't enough before doing stuff to it. cannot tell if this

    3. Your flow is getting too large in processing and the process action is taking long then 30 seconds, which can and does cause the request queue to back up and will cause 504 errors

    5. Your form has somehow changed, the data inside is now causing an issue.

Cannot see the data coming in etc. but those are the reasons that you would get that. or some variation of the one of these.
