Hello all

I need your help to build a flow between Outlook and SalesForce.

I would like to create a SalesForces task for a SalesForce contact when I send him an email with Outlook 365 where:

* Name ID in Salesforce = name of the contact where email address in SalesForce = email address of the email receiver

* Subject in SalesForce = Object of the sent email

* Related to ID in SalesForce = the name of the Email Sender (know in SalesForce of course)

Do you know if it's possible to do that?

Thanks in advance,

BR

    Hi @KevTherm

    Hope you are well,

    Let me know if I understand this correctly,

    You want to create a contact when you send an email with certain criteria
    Flow only supports triggers when email is received ,
    You can overcome this by adding the flow user email in the CC to do the trigger
    As for the rest of the flow , you can use the Sales force connector to check if the contact exists to create a new one
    Please let me know if this clarifies the flow or not ..
    you can also check this template and modify it by changing the trigger

    Hello

    Not exactly. I would like to create a task in Saleforce for existing contacts (in Saleforce)

    The link between Outlook and Saleforce would be the email addresses.

    Is it possible to do ?

    Thanks

    @KevTherm
    Well, when you use the outlook triggers, you should have the email address in context , you can use it with Sales force actions to get a record or Job and create records ...
    I would say based on the available actions it could be possible yes.
    Find below the Sales Force connector documentation

    Hello

    Thanks for the link but I'm afraid that this is beyond my competence.

    @KevTherm
    Thank you for your feedback,
    You can start to implement this flow template
    Create a Salesforce contact using Microsoft Forms | Microsoft Power Automate

    And then modify it based on your need,
    Remove the form triggers and actions and replace it with email trigger "When an new email arrives" ...

    Let me know the outcome of this and if you faced any issue in the implementation

    Best Regards
