Put Gallery for Repeating table into a DataCard

Hi

Currently, I am building a SharePoint List form.

When I put a Gallery that use to create a repeating table as I put the Gallery into a DataCard

It does not show the table that I created when I previewed.

I was confused and I need help with this.

Hi @Anonymous ,

I agree with @Jeff_Thorpe 's thought almost. Firstly, please make sure the Gallery2 has been connected to a Table data source which contains records (at least one record).

In addition, please also make sure the DisplayMode property of the Gallery2 is set to following:

DisplayMode.Edit

If the Gallery2 is connected to a empty table data source, the Gallery2 would display blank within your Email data card just as you mentioned.

The gallery will display items based on the formula in the Items property of the gallery. You could have that formula filter the gallery results to show only items related to the form if there is a field in common.

Thank you for your reply.

I wonder that:
If I set the form default mode to 'new', will it display anything?
If I set the item variable for the gallery to a collection, will it display anything?

If there isn't any records in the gallery then the gallery won't show anything.
