User cannot edit on the shared app

Hello,

I have shared the app with a couple users. The app is designed from MS template--- a typical three screen app.

When user open the app, they can only see the first page(below), and they are not able to click "+" to add a new record.

I checked the permission: each user has the "edit permission" to the datasource, and "can use" permission to the PowerApp

Is there anything I missed?

Thank you!Sharing App.png

Re: User cannot edit on the shared app

    Hi Jingjing:

In previous edition, we did have the similar problem on clicking "+" icon on Mobile Phone - Android and iPhone.

Then we can to BUTTONS and it works. Images did not work, too!.

However, in the latest editionm it works for all above cases.

May you try to change the "+" icon to Button , and emded the similar code. Save into Cloud and share "can edit" and see, if this button works?

    Hope this info helps.

    Hi Jingjing,

Were all your shared users not able to click “+” icon to add a new record? Had you checked the function set to the “+” icon? What PowerApps version were your shared users using?

I shared an App created from data with SharePoint Online to my group member, and I specified the permission level to “can use” to PowerApps, of course, the group member also had “Edit” permission to the Data source. The function of the “+” icon was set correctly, and shared user had the same version with me(Version:2.0.470), shared user can click “+” an add a new record.

Please check the information above, you could also try to share the App again to check if it works.

    Best regards,
    Mabel Mao
