Automate an email on list item Status set to 'Complete'

Hello

Am looking to build a flow to automate an email once an items Status field is changed to 'Completed'. Only way I currently know how to is with trigger 'when item is modified', however, this means any modifications to an item once assigned to Completed will send the email.

There could be instances where the item needs to be edited once completed, and I don't want to send an email every time. Just one email when it is initially set to Completed.

Thank you

    Hi @Jimmyqwe ,

Yes, you can set trigger conditions, when the Status field is 'Completed' it will not trigger. Modify the Status field for the first time, as long as the Status field is not 'Completed' before modification.

When the Status is first changed to Completed, I need the flow to run though.

    Hi @Jimmyqwe ,

Do you want that when the Status field is 'Completed', no matter how you modify it, the flow will not be triggered?

Please set the [When an item or a file is modified]'s trigger condition to avoid circular triggering.
