Form submits automatically after clicking on other custom button on page

Hi,

We are having a problem combining a custom form and custom buttons on the same page. If I add a custom form to a page together with a custom image slider with custom buttons and I click on the custom button of the image slider, the page automatically scrolls to the form and the form is suddenly sent. Both should have nothing to do with each other. What is the problem and how can I solve it?

Can't add a link to see the problem, because it's on test environment.

Might need more information for this issue, sounds like everything is custom made, what Power Pages components did you use?

Thanks for your reply. Not everything is custom made, but a lot is. We are using out of the box Text sections for example, but we have also made custom image sliders, custom call to action blocks and custom form fields. If we combine different custom elements (with custom buttons) together with the custom form on 1 page it goes wrong. After clicking on the button beneath the image slider the pages automatically scrolls to the top of the form and shows validation text that fields are still empty. It looks like the button click in the image slider is submitting the form which we don't want.

Please see attachment. I've added 2 screenshots of the custom image slider and the custom form. If i click on the 'verder/next' button in the image slider the page automatically scrolls to the top of the form.
