I’m trying to import a process mining report into the Power BI workspace but can't complete the process because registering the service principal is required. However, I encountered an error while attempting to register the service principal. I used this command:

New-AzureADServicePrincipal -AppId dad3c6de-ed58-42ef-989f-9c0303aaeedc -DisplayName ‘Process Insights Prod’.

I created an app in Microsoft Azure for the App ID and followed this documentation for reference. How can I resolve this error?

When I try using a different name instead of 'process mining prod,' I receive the error: 'Insufficient privileges to complete the operation.'

Register the process mining service principal And connect it to the power bi workspace.

The error tells you that the service principle name is already in use. Either it was already created with another attempt or you need to set a new name to distinct from another service principal.
