Flow Approval for TimeSheet

Previously I created a timesheet list that listed a weekly timesheet in individual rows which wasn't what I wanted but with that list I created a flow that would gather all weekly entries within the last 7 days and send out approval request to their respective managers and so on to view and approve it. Now I was able to create a new list and app that would allow all inputs for the week in one row so with the previous flow I created I'm not sure on whether I would need the action that collected entries from the last 7 days or not.

This is the Flow created for the previous listThis is the Flow created for the previous list

I'm quite confused on how to go from there. Previously I also used the get Items action but seeing as I won't need that as all entries are in one row what would be more suitable to use, also to use the when a new item has been created trigger would not work for the list as an employee will always go back to the form to add new entries for the following days of the week.

The schedule flow will send out an approval request to managers on Sunday 11:59.

    Hi @Anonymous,

You could use get items within the past 7 days by using a filter query. Then initialize a string variable to store these items combine them into a record by using Apply to each action + Append to string variable action:

I just tried that now and it worked well thank you. I just wanted to also ask what if I have to send several approval request. The way that would go is that after one has been approved, the item in the list gets updated to approve in the list and then another approval will be sent to the next person  and so on till it reaches the last person. I've worked on this previously with my last format and I went through an issue where I exceeded the amount of conditions used. Since I'll be send out 4 approval request out.

This was the flow for the previous format. As  you can see I have a statement in the condition box that says G1 G2. These are the rules I set out so approval to g1 and so on till g4.  Would this new flow format how would I incorporate this whole action.

    Hi @Anonymous,

I do not quite understand your issue, the number of conditions used exceeded means the depth of Flow?

If so, the allowed action nesting depth is 8, you could refer to the limits of Flow config:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/limits-and-config#flow-limits
