Using Power Automate to automatically send email from excel spreadsheet

Hi all,

I hope you're well!

I am having trouble building a flow for sending emails using power automate by using an excel spreadsheet. I have tried to follow the advice in the article below, however I am experiencing some problems:

Power Automate Flow - Sending emails to list of pe... - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com)

The flow doesn't give the correct inputs (the addresses I would assume) to the 'send an email function' and so the flow stops working. I have no idea what I am doing wrong and I've checked it many times.

Failing a solution, is there another way to pull email addresses from an excel and send emails?

Thanks all in advance!

Can you share a screenshot of your Excel file to see how you've stored the emails, and also screenshot(s) of your flow?

Are you setting up a scheduled trigger that runs daily, or some other trigger? Any extra info you have can help to work out what you're after.

    Hi,

I actually managed to get it to work after sending this! Please see screenshot below:

I was missing the 'Append to string variable' step which prevented an error I was receiving which mentioned the data needing to be treated as an 'array'.

In summary, I don't entirely understand why but it does now work! If anyone else can offer insights then please do.
