Users logging in without registering or using an invitation

Hi everyone

I set up a power pages site that uses Open ID connect for sign in, I set it to allow only users from inside my tenant.

When sending a link to a user with the sign in url for the website they still need an invitation code ( I turned the registration of). Is it possible for them to login without an invitation code??

Just some extra info. The users and contacts are already set in Dataverse before login and I have mapped the emails to contacts on sign in.

Thanks in advance

    Dear @jaja4114

Yes it is possible to bypass the invitation process, you can set the  "Authentication/Registration/InvitationEnabled" site setting to false.

By doing this the invitation code will not be asked on initial login.

Just make sure that the login is enabled for the contact and the email confirmed is set as yes.

Hi thanks for the help. When you say to make sure email is confirmed to yes. Where can I confirm this setting?

The field being mentioned is on each Contact record.

At the end of the day you will need your contacts to be associated via the External Identity record which is created via the registration process, depending on what you need you may need to do it manually.

You could still use Invitations, as you have locked down the Azure AD, you could enable registration, but disable OpenRegisrationEnabled

(Registration/Enabled is needed for the Invitation, but OpenRegistrationEnabled is what lets/stops anonymous registrations)
