Get values from Folder's Meta data

I'm not sure if this is even possible, but I'm going to throw it out there.  I have a document library that has the following folder structure:

Folder Main - has a Total Dollar Amount field (ex. 4000.00)

Folder A - has a dollar amount for Folder A in the same field (ex. 2000.00)

Folder B - has a dollar amount for Folder B in the same field (ex. 2000.00)

Is it possible for Main Folder to reflect the total of Folder A and Folder B if they are using the same metadata field?

These are all in the same Document Library.  They are metadata fields, so Folder A + Folder B would total in the Main Folder.

    Hi @kmw1130

Just to be clear, you want, essentially, to have a Calculated Column in Folder Main, that can read... what... essentially sum(A + B) ??

So from a Flow, yes you can. But it had nothing to do with meta data

I have no idea where or how you have your Column or if its Calculated etc. But you would have to do a Get Items, for both List A and List B.

Then get the value you need or calculated it in the Flow, then do a Get Items on the Main, and do an Update Item.

That or you could look at LookUp Columns but uggg I hate those.

Again without knowing your structure etc I hate guessing or wasting time typing all of this, but in a Flow yes you can do it.
If I have helped you, I would really appreciate if you please Mark my answer as Resolved/Answered, and give it a thumbs up, so it can help others

    Cheers
