Below is a basic form I created in Portals. There is data displayed in the form behind that is being pulled from a table.

When I click on 'Create' or 'Details' I get the following error.

My preference is 'Create' opens blank version of form for completion; 'Detail' opens content for edit based on line button is clicked.

Hi @Phineas 'Can you please share screenshots of the configurations of the metadata you use to launch this "create" form?
also did you ensure that you added "created" to the entity web role?

Sir,

I actually figured it out; though you were right, my issue was in the metadata.

If I may, I can't figure out where how to edit the column titles of my list as they appear in the Portal view. Can you tell how to do this; if I want - the view only to make 'CONCID' = Contract ID, or change the font color or size?

Hi @Phineas , this should be simple, open the List>select Options > Overwrite Col Attributes

With you help I was able to change the 'Name'; I still couldn't figure out how to change color and font size.

How is font color and size adjustment to be achieved in the CSS (is that the right term?).

This is that language for the screenshot below. If I want to make the font color green and the font size 10px (assuming current font size is 20px)?

Hi @Phineas ,
I am glad that it worked for you, here is how to have full control on styling your portal:

Using Chrome, open the Developers tool (right click and hit inspect)
Click on the inspect arrow (the top green box)
highlight the exact element you want to update, in your case list title (the second green box)
now find the exact styling that control it, in my case is (a) which is highlighted in the yellow box below (the bootstrap css file is highlighted in orange)

6. update color and font as you see below in blue box, the changes should be reflected immediately on your browser only

7. once you are ok with changes, click on bootstrap (green box below)

8. select all text, save the file as note with .css extension then update the styling in your portal
