Dear All,
Perhaps a little challenging, but I have a question concerning contact access to multiple accounts on portals with sharepoint integration.
I did set up portal integration on my accounts-table, added permissions, web roles etc. Now I can create Accounts, which leads to new sharepoint-folders, and I can create corresponding contacts to these accounts, so they can only access the sharepoint documents of their (parent)account through the portal. This works fine.
Since I have as accounts for example 'Company Odysseus USA' and 'Company Odysseus EU' which should be different entities. I can add a contact who only works in the USA to the first company and vice versa for the EU. But I also have contacts who work globally, they should be able to see all the sharepoint documents/folders of both companies/account-entities.
So far I tried two options albeit with little to no success. I checked if the standard relation between account and contact could be switch to a many-to-many relationship, which wasn't possible. Perhaps I should create and manage a new contact entity to create a new relationship.
I also tried to use the already present field 'Parent account' on the entity 'account' to create parent records for existing accounts in the same table. But I can't get my form, view and permissions set-up right even if this would be possible.
Does someone have any experience with this or can guide me further
Thank you in advance
Kind regards
