I want to use React js for custom development in powerapps portal. Is there any way to achieve this?
Hi @Namrata_Surushe,
The short answer is yes. I usually advise against it, as development and support requires individuals with expansive skill sets.
Here's a quick setup example: https://www.dantas.ca/blog/liquid-reactions-adding-reactjs-to-powerapps-portals
IMHO this defeats the purpose of low-code / no-code solution. Why complicate with React JS / Angular JS and cumbersome web stacks.
We need to add some more features with custom development using React JS, but before going forward I need to confirm that, will it be possible to develop portal with react js?
I have successfully integrate the solution you have provided. but How will I achieve routing in my portal & How will I call more than one web template in single web page to achieve the component concept of react js.
My understanding with React (I've worked with Angular in the Portal, but not React much) is that the component aspect is compiled into the Web Files themselves. For routing, you most likely need to create Web Pages that match the same URL routes, all pointing to this same Web Template/Page template you've created. This is also how Angular utilizes it.
