I have the following setup:
1. Custom table with notes (attachments) enabled
2. I have created a form with the the timeline control added
3. I have created a Basic form Edit-Form
==> Within PowerPages when navigating to the form I can see the Timelinecontrol and notes (if they have *WEB* in the desciption)
==> Till here everything works as expected
I then enabled attachments for that form:
==> This also works as expected. I was able to upload files and those file have been added as notes.
I then added the following setting with the PowerPages Management App to enable Create/Edit/Delete of Notes
==> Expected result: I will be able to create/edit/delete the files uploaded via PowerPages
==> Actual result:
1. I now have a button "Add note". This is what I have expected and is working.
2. For all notes added via PowerPages (not via e.g. a ModelDrivenApp) I see an action menu
BUT: This action menu is not working. It is not clickable...it even does not change the cursor style. This only happen for Notes which I have uploaded using the "Attach a file" option of my Basic Form.
If I create a note with the "Add Note" button (coming from the Basic Metadata Entry) the action menu is working as expected. If I update the description of a Note created via "Attach a file" to add some additional Text (I did this using a model driven app) the action menu suddenly works for that note.
To summarize:
1. Note created with "Attach a file". Desciption manually updated to *WEB*Via "Attach a file"
==> Action menu working
2. Note created via ModelDriven App. Added *WEB* in the description
==> Note is showing but no action menu visible (expected behavior)
3. Note created via "Add note" button.
==> Action menu is working (very likely because I must apply a Note text)
4. Note created via "Attach a file"
==> Action menu visible but not working at all (no mouseover/not cklickable)
Any ideas how to fix this or is this an expected behavior?
