Creating a custom action for a connector

How to write your own custom actions with any level of granularity for a connector ?

For example.

In D365 connector, there is a "create record" action, I need another action which is an abstraction over the same.

Thank you

    Hi @sandeepnmenon,

There is no any way to clone the existing connector in microsoft flow currently.

I afraid that you could only create a custom connector in flow and there is no any other way to achieve your needs in Microsoft Flow currently.

If you would like this feature to clone the existing connector to be added in Microsoft Flow, please submit an idea to Flow Ideas Forum:

    Best regards,

    Alice

No. Maybe an idea to submit an idea for a new feature in this forum.

Thank you @Pieter_Veenstra for the reply.

Creating a new connector for dynamics 365, just for one action is very cost inefficient.

Is there any way to clone the existing connector, and then add my action to it?

    HI @sandeepnmenon,

You will need to write a custom connector that includes just the action that you require.

Just to give you an example of what a custom connector could look like have a look at this github project:
