Hello Experts,

I have a power apps portal application, In which I need to introduce external sign-in functionality using Azure AD B2C.

for that, I have gone through one of the Microsofts solutions in the given link below.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/portals/configure/use-simplified-authentication-configuration#configure-the-azure-active-directory-b2c-provider

In that link, they have mentioned clicking on the Authentication Settings to get a list of supported identity providers.

but I can't see that section in my portal settings. please check the below screenshot.

portal settings_censored.jpg

I want to see that authentication setting section in the portal settings, or
Please let me know what are all the best possible ways to achieve, External Microsoft users to sign in to my portal using External sign in.

any kind of help is really appreciable.

Regards,

Pranesh

    Hi

    Try the preview URL: https://make.preview.powerapps.com/

you should see the authentication options there

    Hi @praneshJ,

As indicated at the top of that page, this is a Preview feature. It's only rolled out to customers who have been setup for early upgrade (in your screenshot, click "Administration ->" and check the box for "Enable portal for early upgrade" at the bottom - this does not guarantee when you will see the feature, but makes it more likely to show up) and should be releasing fully in the next few months.

For setting up B2C the traditional way, the documentation is pretty straight-forward: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/portals/configure/azure-ad-b2c. Even with other blogs, the Azure B2C settings evolve all of the time so some things won't be exactly as worded, but I've had success setting this up in recent months.

hi @justinburch for this feature you actually don't need to enable preview mode

all you need to is browse via make.preview.powerapps.com and you will see the feature there😉

I don't know if this was the right place for this post so I have created a new topic instead.

    Thanks

    Hello,

I am trying to configure external authentication to my trial portal.

I can see the section for Authentication settings but when I click the link I get the following.

We can't find the page you're looking for. Please verify the link and try again.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Pantelis

hi @pantelis I think this link is a good start: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/portals/configure/configure-azure-ad-b2c-provider

    Thanks for replying @OliverRodrigues .
I had followed these steps but the Providers page of step 6 was not loading.

Apparently I deleted the portal and created a new one and everything worked.

I guess something went wrong when the portal was created first time.
