Hi all,

We have to set our portal to production soon, as the trial is nearing its end. When we took a look at the pricing, some things are still unclear. We understand you have to pay per view and per login (which lasts 24 hours if I am correct), but we do not really understand how much exactly. Lets say we have 200 external users who have to log-in to our portal and under 100,000 views. Does this mean the costs are $200 for the logins + $100 for the views?

Hi @hjvv ,

You can find more about pricing here (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/powerapps-flow-licensing-faq#what-is-the-difference-between-power-apps-portals-and-dynamics-365-portals-in-terms-of-licensing). You need to remember that you are buying not external users but logins for them. IE if you have 200 users that would use your portal every working day per month (20 days) you will have approx 200*20 = 4000 logins per month. That's mean that the cheapest option would be to go with Tier 3 which is for 5k logins per month and costs 3500 USD + 100USD for 100k page views if you have anonymous users. You can always contact Microsoft or relevant CSP to get more details.

Hi @hjvv

You have many options as of now as per @OOlashyn . The easiest way at this stage is to subscribe for "Pay as you go" which will ease your burden of doing the complex calculation for your licensing. As you cannot predict whether the users will log in or not. This may suit your need.
