Determining the variance in 1 column for multiple rows.

Hello all, I was not able to find my specific scenario but I am newer to Power BI and attempting to recreate some old pivot table reports within Power BI.

I am looking to add a Current YTD (CYTD) and Prior YTD (PYTD) row to calculate the variance between years.

For example, I'd like to know for January, what was my PYTD Variance (2023-2022) and then my CYTD Variance (2024-2023) and so on for each month and the total year.

Any guidance would be appreciated!
