Hello,

Could someone offer me a detailed guide on how to complete successfully the SSL Certificate and Custom Domain configuration, in order for my website to go live?

I am in the process of buying the SSL certificate, but I don't know what should be done after that. Can someone who got through it, offer me a detailed step-by-step explanation of what I should do next?

Thank you!

    Hi @taraubianca25 ,

    1. Cname record creation: Create a CName record in your DNS manager with the following values:
      1. a. Entry – Subdomain name shall be entered here: We would need a subdomain name that you would like to see on the URL; example <subdomain.clientdomain.org>,  whatever subdomain name you think will be suitable please enter that in the entry field. i.e. Support
                    Type – CNAME
Address/Label – “URL of the Portal”
                     TTL - 24hours

    2. Generate the Wild Card SSL certificate in .PFX file format. – the wild card SSL certificate which is in the .PFX format it has password.

    Hi @manojmane ,

Thank you for the reply! I just need a few more guidance, as this is my first time managing this kind of things.

    1. Could you offer me more information of how to create a CName record in my DNS manager? Where should I configure this? Is there a dedicated website or is somewhere on my computer?
    2. Is it a must for the SSL certificate to be of type wildcard? From my understanding, there are different types of SSL certificates: simple, multi and wildcard. Please correct me if I am wrong
